This school does not lead to any medical, nursing or other clinical licence. LES Institute teaches the pre-clinical sciences only — anatomy, physiology, clinical-skills knowledge and medical terminology — as theory and on-screen simulation. There is no patient contact, no placement and no state examination here. Our certificates are certificates of study, not a licence, registration or university credit.

Human Physiology

You know where the organs are and now want to understand what they do, why values change, and how the body holds itself steady. Built for entrance-exam candidates, health workers and anyone who has to read physiological numbers at work.

What you'll be able to do

How it's built

Every week pairs a concept with a simulated experiment: you change a variable, watch the curve move and explain why. The laboratory work is entirely virtual — no reagents, no animals, no human subjects. Physiology here is explanatory science, not clinical decision-making, and nothing in it authorises interpretation of a real patient's results.

Laboratory simulations

Cardiac cycle simulatorChange preload, afterload and contractility; read the pressure–volume loop.
Virtual spirometryProduce and label volume–time and flow–volume traces on simulated profiles.
Nephron & fluid balanceAdjust filtration and reabsorption, follow urine output and plasma osmolality.
ECG waveform reading — normal tracesRelate P, QRS and T to the electrical events. Normal physiology only, no diagnosis.

Structure

1. Cells, transport & homeostasis1–2Membranes, diffusion, feedback loops
2. Cardiovascular3–6Cardiac cycle, output, pressure, ECG basis
3. Respiratory7–9Ventilation, gas exchange, spirometry simulation
4. Renal & endocrine10–13Filtration, fluid and acid–base balance, hormones
5. Laboratory portfolio & exam14–16Four graded virtual laboratory reports plus a written paper
