This school does not lead to any clinical licence. LES Institute provides administrative, logistical, data and academic preparation training. We do not train clinicians and we issue no clinical qualification of any kind. To practise as a doctor, nurse or midwife you must attend a government-accredited institution in your country and pass the state examination. There is no online route, here or anywhere.

Health Data & DHIS2

You are comfortable with a computer and spreadsheets, and you want to work with the data that health systems run on: registers, indicators, dashboards and monthly reports. No clinical background needed, and none is given.

What you'll be able to do

How it's built

DHIS2 is used in more than 40 countries and is the national health information system in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana and Liberia. The DHIS2 Online Academy is free and self-paced, and issues a certificate for each course completed; it runs in English with a selection of courses in French, Portuguese and Spanish. DHIS2 Fundamentals takes roughly three weeks at six hours per week and is the prerequisite for Level 1 Academy courses. We add the sequence, the live teaching, the data-interpretation module using real indicators, and the applied project.
