Accounting Technician
Bookkeeper, accounts assistant, junior accountant — I record the transactions.
You are starting in accounting, or you already keep books informally and want to do it to a standard an employer or an auditor will accept.
What you'll be able to do
- Record purchases, sales, cash and bank movements with correct double entry
- Keep a clean ledger and reconcile a bank statement
- Prepare a trial balance and the supporting schedules
- Apply SYSCOHADA account classes instead of a foreign chart of accounts
- Work in Excel to a level an employer can test

- The LES Institute OHADA Bridge workbook and your assessed closing exercise
- An LES Institute certificate of completion
